On October 30, 2015, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) will sponsor the fourth Safe Transportation Achievement Recognition (“STAR”) Awards program, to formally recognize California motor carriers in the truck and bus industry for their efforts in making safety the number one priority in their day-to-day operations. Here you’ll see how points are awarded, deducted and the categories in which nominated carriers will fall. If you would like to apply for an award, please use the STAR Awards Application Form. (Applications must be received no later than August 30, 2015)
